Synopsis: Fifteenth Century. Dom Alfonso, a jealous old nobleman, ordered everyone to deviate from the streets when his beautiful wife, Lady Leonor, goes to church to pray to the Virgin of Mercy. One day, she is seen by another nobleman, Dom Rui, who is dazzled by her beauty. D. Alfonso tells his wife to go to their Estate in Cabril, and decides to stab himself to death his rival at night ... But the body mysteriously disappears.
